The drive appears to be fine I ran check disk and no errors were found. I have never had this problem before with this drive. I can see my SSD with the OS and the internal 2nd drive but not the LaCie. I am trying to run Windows Backup to my external USB 3.0 Toshiba drive, but the backup keeps failing when almost complete. Voila!! My external hard drives are back in finder and desktop. I have a LaCie external hard drive (this one here) that was given to me by a friend, and for one reason or another W10 wont show the external drive as an option under Devices and Drives when selecting 'This PC' or My Computer. Uninstalled the third party Paragon NTFS application(Possibly supplied with the Seagate Dashboard Software). Found "Paragon NTFS" in the system preferences (my external hard drives are formatted with ntfs).
